I tried to get through tai chi class today. I had to leave early because of my deepening bronchitis and incipient migraine. For some reason, meditation makes me light-headed if I’m sick, and I barely made it through the first section of the form.
I need ginger tea. Fortunately, I have some that my mom sent me from Taiwan. Unfortunately, I have no one to bring me a cup while I delicately recline on the divan. Therefore, I will have to get it myself.
To that end, I am posting two older pieces. One is a review of the movie, Michael Collins, directed by Neil Jordan and starring Alan Rickman. Ok, it’s actually starring Liam Neeson but Alan is in it! That’s good enough for me. I assigned it to the ‘After You See It’ category, but it really wouldn’t hurt if you read the review before seeing the movie.
The other piece is a humorous look at my well-documented obsession with aforementioned Alan Rickman. Hopefully, I will be up with new content again tomorrow. In the meantime, take a peek into the mind of a younger Minna. Go ahead, you know you can’t resist.
