For four days, I am resolving to not post about politics. I am not going to read any lefty blogs or newspapers. In fact, after I watch Keith and Rachel tonight, I will banish politics from my mind until Tuesday, February 10th. Why am I doing this? Because I am getting mad, frustrated, depressed, and, quite frankly, bored with all the yes we can, no we can’t crap. I can’t do anything about it, so I’m just going to temporarily ignore it. Because I can. I am also going to try to set up my fiction blog in the next four days. If I manage to get it up and running, you will see a new link in my blogroll, and I will probably brag about it in a post. I might have to write a template, which I’ve never done before. With an on-line tutorial and direct access to my very own techie geek (my bro), I might be able to not screw it up too badly.
I have posted below reviews of the fourth and fifth Potter films. There are only two more after this, and number six is supposed to come out sometime this year. Well, it was supposed to come out at the end of last year, but it didn’t. I will actually do two reviews for each of those movies, a before review and an after review, if I feel like it. It’s my blog, and I can do what I want to! Wheeee!
In honor of my friend, Natasha, she whom I call Sis and whom I have seen all the Potter movies with, I hereby give you today’s love video: Neil Diamond’s Love on the Rocks.
So, what do I love today? I love the night. I love being awake at three in the morning, knowing that most of the people around me are asleep. I love feeling like I am the only person alive. I love going outside in the darkness, naked, and dancing in the rain. I love being at one with the night, feeling it to be simpatico with me. And, I love walking in the dark with no lights on in the house, using the moonlight to guide me. I have to be careful of my cats who are always nearby (and black), but they just complete the imperfect union.
Have a good weekend.
